During the international film festival Days of Ethnographic Film, held in Ljubljana from February 27 to March 1, 2025, Tanja Bukovčan led a workshop for students of visual anthropology from Zagreb and Ljubljana, as well as for other interested festival participants. The workshop titled Sensitive Ethnographers – Doing and Creating Sensory Ethnography explored contemporary sensory ethnography in the context of digital, environmental, and social complexities. Drawing on approaches from multisensory anthropology, it emphasized sensory analysis as a way to address social issues. Participants reflected on practices of making, doing, creating, finding, and experiencing within sensory research.
